Kolibri — Privacy Policy

The Kolibri application converts spoken words into ready text and inserts it into the input field where the cursor is placed. Below is everything the application and our server do with the data.
Main points
The server stores neither voice recordings nor texts. The text exists on the server only during the processing of a single dictation. Dictation history is stored only on your phone and only if you have enabled it — by default, it is turned off.

Accessibility service
The application uses the Android Accessibility API (AccessibilityService) for only one purpose: to detect that you have placed the cursor in a text field, show a microphone button near the keyboard, and, upon your tap, insert the dictated text into this field. The service does not read the screen or other fields, does not work in password fields, does not click anything, and does not perform actions on its own. It is enabled only by you in the Android settings after a separate warning in the application.
What we do not do
We do not collect contacts, location, files, or advertising identifiers. There is no advertising or third-party analytics. Data is not sold or transferred for advertising purposes. Transmission is strictly via secure HTTPS connection.
Data deletion
History on the phone is cleared by the “Clear history” button in the application; disabling history also deletes it. We will delete the device profile and counters upon receiving an email at e.pustoshilov@trust.moscow within 3 business days.
